Stock account vs. internal order

Hello All,
I am currently trying to assign our invest purchase order to an internal order.
I have no success in doing so.
Internal order and order type corresponds to "Invest".
All invest orders are assigned to a clearing account for asset acquisitions.
This account is an inventory account and not a profit and loss account.
Is it possible that the internal order does not show a purchase order commitment or is our financial accounting doing something wrong during posting?
The goal is to make purchase order items with invest/asset reference directly visible on the internal order!
Grateful for any hint!
Thanks
Sebastian

    Hi,
    what is the error message?
I would say that you have to use a result account, and later settle the internal order to the plant or AIB.

    Hello,
In ERP 6.0 you have 2 possibilities:
    1. use an expense account, then the values are on the internal order and can be settled via IM to the asset or if this can not yet be capitalized at month-end, first to the asset under construction (AiB).
    2. Use a stock account, then the values are on the stock account. If you also want to see them as statistical actuals on the internal order, the inventory account must also be created as a cost element with cost element type 90. Actually, this is only possible for material and fixed asset ledger accounts, if you try to create this via KA01. However, all those who have set this up before 6.0 can confirm that it still works. Then the values on the internal order are only statistical, further settlement is not possible.
In the long term, solution 1 is of course more effective, since the internal order can be settled automatically to an AiB account, which replaces the clearing account. That solution 2 still works in HANA, I have my doubts.
