The depth of the project level in SAP is determined by the structure of the project definition and the underlying WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) elements. To increase the level depth, you would basically need to add more WBS elements in your project structure. Here are the basic steps you should normally follow: 1. open your project in transaction CJ20N, this is the project planner transaction in SAP. 2. select the project definition or a WBS element under which you want to add more levels. 3. click on the "Create WBS element" button or select the "Create" option in the "WBS element" menu and fill in the required fields to create the new WBS element. 4. you can now create the new WBS element under this new WBS element. 4. you can now create further WBS elements under this newly created WBS element to achieve the desired level depth. Please note that the number of individual project levels and their use depend heavily on your specific business processes and needs. It is advisable to plan and define this structure carefully. If you have restrictions regarding the depth of the project structure, these could be caused by specific settings in your SAP system. In this case, I recommend contacting your SAP consultant or support team.
