Save values in favorites in Query Designer

Hello
In Query Designer you can make restrictions when selecting a characteristic. These restrictions can be saved with the button "Selected selection". Under Show -> Favorites these saved values should be available. This does not work for us, because you can save the values, but you cannot recall them. They are simply not available under Show -> Favorites. There is no error message.
What could be the reason for this? Note 1259934 does not fit, as this also occurs with uncompounded values. It is also independent of the inforprovider.
Greetings
Alex

    Hello Alex,
I have tested the functionality with the following GUI.
BI AddOn Patch for GUI 7.20 Patch 7 in connection with SAP GUI Patch 11.
The saving of favorites for characteristic restrictions, their recall as favorite selections as well as the control into the selection works with it without problems.
Good luck with the new patch.

    thank you very much.
We still have GUI 7.1 Pachlevel 5 (7100.1.5.3074). In Query Designer it says it is BI Addon 7.X version (Based on 7.10), Support Package 3, Revison 519.
Does this mean we have to upgrade to GUI 7.2? Support for 7.1 expired in 2011 anyway, so surely this would make sense?

    Hello Alex,
yes, exactly as you say. Since GUI 7.1 is no longer supported since April 2011, the upgrade to GUI 7.2 is recommended (Support GUI 7.2 runs until April 2013). For your information, the successor of GUI 7.2 is probably coming ASAP from Q2/2012.
    Many greetings, Oliver

    Hello
just wanted to say that after updating to SAP GUI 7100.4.22.3191 and Support Package 15 in Bex, the error no longer occurs. Still can't save selections in many cases because many characteristics are compounded, but at least it offers it nciht anymore. The statement in the first post that it also occurs with uncompounded values was wrong.
Let's see if we get 7.2 at some point.
    Regards
    Alex
