Easy Cost Planning (ECP) enables a quick calculation of planned costs for specific (CO) objects according to the principle of unit costing.
ECP uses costing models as planning templates. From a technical point of view, costing models are classes of (internal) class type 051. Consequently, characteristics are an essential part of costing models.
These characteristics are assigned values during planning. The characteristic values form the input for the plan cost calculation, whose arithmetic unit is stored in a template.
Using a simple example (please do not take it too seriously!), the intelligence quotient of the planner is taken into account when determining the planned costs for an internal order, in that if the IQ is high/medium/low, the costs estimated by the planner - in this case EUR 5,000 - are automatically given a "safety margin" of 10/25/50%:

The challenge with this model is that it is a self-assessment by the planner....
