SEPA DD /XML FILES

Hello SEPA Team
in most projects CT is probably already completed. From my experience it is often difficult to get specifications from foreign banks for SEPA DD. Spain and Italy often prove to be hard but good candidates.
Especially with the exotics, the tree is light years away from standard. I have read specifications in Italian, where I felt like I was from another planet. SEPA DD is just tricky
I would like to understand and learn XML better because it will accompany our F110 in the next years.
I have found the following

Has anyone of you found a good book recommendation or online possibility in the net?
An approach occupies me in SEPA projects more and more....
It must be possible that our SAP customers get ready files from their banks. These can be anonymized.
One would need then the XML files in the editor nevertheless only times to work on and customer data such as BIC, account number, intended purpose etc. ... throw out.
Then one would have at least already once the finished tags and could upload the tree with DMEE in SAP.
Of course there are things like Purpose Code etc. which have to be found via Fubas.
On the other hand there is also the possibility of status maintenance in SAP. E.g. if BIC is not there, do not throw out field. Status 2
Please forgive me that I ask so relaxed, because I have no idea about XML and I am not a developer.
What do you think about my ideas ?
Please send me some infos
With kind regards

    Hello Jens,
I feel the same way and I also don't know why just what is controlled via which exits and at what time etc., however, I see your suggestion to have the XML delivered by the banks similar to some customers. The closer a definition is to a bank (cf. Deutsche Bank), the more costly it is to change banks.
This is one of the reasons why a number of companies go the route of staying as close as possible to ISO20022.
But you are right. Actually there should be a library at the EPC for everyone (whether bank or country) who cooks his own soup in the XML standard, in which he deposits a sample format tree.
    Greetings from Berlin
    and have a nice evening
